Isaiah 61: 3
and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD
for the display of his splendor.
It is so amazing when you see God begin to work in someones life and give them beauty for the ashes they have made of their life. I am praying that I will witness the gladness and praise that is sure to follow. A life restored truly displays His splendor.

I love this verse. It reminds me of God's grace. Have you heard the song by Shane and Shane? I believe it is called Beauty for Ashes....it brings such peace to be reminded of what God is willing to do.
