Ponderings

As I was reading Pastor Kris's message for this weekend my mind rested on the "consequences of sin". How sad I feel when I think about the fact that my acts of disobedience keep me and others from the blessings that God intended for us. I don't feel guilty, but just very sad that God has things for us that are beyond our thoughts or imaginations (Eph 3:19-21) and that we by our disobedience can keep these blessings from entering our lives and the life of our church. My prayer is that I will be ever mindful of how my actions effect others and how we as a corporate body are responsible for those who do not know Jesus Christ. My prayer for our church today is that God will help us keep our hearts soft by obeying His word.

Joining In

Well after much hesitation I am joining the blogging pastors of Farmland Friends Church. I am not sure that I will find my voice in this format but I enjoy getting to know others from their blogs so I will do my best to open up and share my simple self.
